BRIO54 was founded in 2007 by Gernot Bruckner, M.Arch. with the premise of introducing unique, modern & responsible lifestyle design to a broader segment of the population.

In order to execute our mission to offer a more affordable, yet viable alternative to higher-end custom homes we operate as a design-build firm and focus on the development and construction of pre-designed and performance-tested house-types.

Progress We Made 

We have successfully created an iconic playful modern lifestyle brand that is neither trendy nor retro, but emerged out of the demand for a functional, yet more emotional than cerebral modern design people can relate to & feel comfortable living in.

2009

Developed several product lines featuring the Brio54_Lifestyle design up to the design development stage. Our H1 to H5 models range from an urban infill to a 520SF studio retreat.  

2010 

Pushed the first product line, the H4, through prototyping and built the Brio54_H4 showcase house in Milford, CT, which has been open for guided tours by appointment since January 2011.

2011 

Established regional sales network through partnerships with local boutique real state brokers, covering Westchester, Suffolk & Nassau County in NY, as well as Fairfield & New Haven County in CT. 

How We Do Business

BRIO54 is a licensed Home Builder with in-house product development. Professional Services are provided through our Licensed Engineering Partner: 

_Contracting 

The license requirements for New Home Construction Contractors vary greatly from state to state. Some states do not have a statewide or countywide licensing policy. We therefore will acquire the necessary licenses on a case-by-case basis. It takes usually about 2 weeks to attain a valid license from the Department of Consumer Protection (DCP):

STATE OF CONNECTICUT

New Home Construction Contractor #NHC.0012959 & Home Improvement Contractor #HIC.0630129. 

STATE OF NEW YORK 

There are no statewide or countywide licensing requirements for New Home Construction Contractors. Each municipality has its own specific requirements. Since it is not feasible to be licensed in each and every municipality we will acquire local contracting licenses on a case by case basis.
